Grassy Waters with my iPhone 4S + iPhoto on iPad 3
I have very little time these days to do anything fun so when I get a few minutes free I try to take advantage of it. On my way home from work this past Saturday I decided to stop real quick at Grassy Waters Preserve in West Palm Beach, FL. Not only is this one of the most beautiful natural places in South Florida but it is also RIGHT on my way home. The sky looked so pretty... but I didn't have my Canon 60D with me. I decided to go anyway and take a few shots with my iPhone 4s.
I got home and played around with those photos on iPhoto on my new iPad. Boy... this software is pretty incredible. The results were fantastic and it was super easy to use. After processing a few, I decided to play around with one of the iPhoto features, journals. I was really trying to figure out a way to just copy the journal posting into this blog but my time was limited (and it might not be possible) so instead I'll post this one picture and a link to the journal.
Now... back to work.

New Orleans
As a result of a very inconvenient shoulder surgery, I have not taken any non-iPhone pictures since mid-November. I'm very excited to announce that tomorrow will be the first PBC Photo Walker meetup that I will be joining since my surgery. While sitting here icing my shoulder I realized that I haven't posted on my blog in a very long time... somehow I forgot to post any of my New Orleans photos!
I went for a work related conference (just prior to my surgery) and Gregg went with me the weekend before. As expected, both the food and photo ops were amazing (and many times the amazing food WAS the photo op).
One of my favorite new photo related pastimes is instagram (feel free to follow me @tammster) and I found myself sharing many of my favorite NOLA pictures on instagram.
Another great subject is, of course, music. It was everywhere.
So many things to see. I spent a lot of time just walking around.
